The Perfect Weekend

Bold statement? Oh yes. But so true.

What do you need to make the perfect weekend? Amazing people, gorgeous setting, fantastic events to attend, beautiful clothes, oh, and more fun than I can remember having.

A little prep work was definitely in order last week before my 6am flight on Saturday morning. Mani/pedi anyone?

Once we arrived in (foggy) San Diego, picked up our car, and got to the hotel, we did what we do best…

Eat. Drink. Be merry.

Once we were revived from our painfully early San Francisco to San Diego flight we admired the gorgeous grounds of the resort the wedding party was staying at.

Then it was time for the wedding-related events to begin. The walk through, rehearsal dinner, get-to-know-you drinks with the bridesmaids and groomsmen, and girls night!

The wedding itself was one for the books. Not only did my friend look drop dead gorgeous (the entire night, how fair is that???), the weather was perfect, the ceremony short and oh-so-sweet, and the reception was the best party I’ve been to in ages. Great music, amazing food (Phil’s BBQ), a kick @$$ dance party, lawn games, delicious vino, and some pretty funny speeches.

The trip home was… Long. We started with breakfast which unfortunately put us both into a coma and then our flight was delayed. On the runway. Sigh.

Hope you all have a great time this weekend!

I vaguely recall that weddings seemed to have a lot of Bloody Mary’s. Looks like a good time.
