Styling 101: How To Wear Chambray

One of my staples for 2013 has already become this killer chambray shirt from TopShop. This style of shirt is incredibly versatile – You can easily dress it up or dress it down, and take it from daytime to nighttime with just a change of accessories.

While tucking a chambray shirt into a cute a-line mini skirt is a fun look for later this Spring when the weather starts to warm up – These chilly February days call for a little more coverage. Enter the cropped pant. If you’ve been window shopping lately you’ve probably seen the plethora of fabulous pants for Spring – Tons of prints and brights – From polka dots and plaids to tweed and silk.

This purple pair of crops are the perfect color to mix with this pale blue denim shirt – This way the tan coat and black accessories can take backseat while the pants & shirt are the center of attention.

Those pants are so adorable! Love this.

  4. This shirt is incredibly versatile. Tucking it in gives it a more dressed up look, and untucked can be casual, unless paired with a solid blazer. Love the MK bag and trousers, great use of color.
