MCLV Style: Suiting

When I saw this suit online {similar style here} I knew it would be a fun addition to my closet. It’s bold and eye-catching, and you can easily wear the top or bottom with a more subdued piece to tone the look down.

However, as much as I adore this look, once I had it on and was in front of the camera I was forced to dub it the Joker Suit. Though of course I don’t consider that any reason to banish it to the back of the closet. Sometimes a girl just needs to make an impact!

If you’re in the mood to spice up your work looks and try a fun twist on a traditional suit this Fall take a look at this beautiful burgundy jacard suit from Asos here, this chic wool St. John suit here, or this edgy leather trimmer version by Rachel Roy here. Happy Suiting!

Would you were a head-to-toe print like this?

  4. I think it’s too matchy-matchy? Wearing one piece alone is enough, not two together~

  5. Big fan of the Zanotti heels. I think the cropped leg really helps modernize and make the suit look more fresh and young, too. And while I’m hesitant of the “joker” print, I like the St John one that you recommended 🙂

  6. This is a totally bold look, Caity! I love it on you! I’m not sure I could pull off the two pieces together, but I think each piece on its own would be a fun addition to my closet. I love its versatility in that you can wear it as a suit or as separates. I recently read a blurb in Vogue in which someone said that every woman should wear a head-to-toe print at some point to test her own confidence because she would definitely stand out from the masses. Looks like you did it with ease! 🙂

  7. you look great in suits! I’m not a huge fan of patterns or suits lol, but I like them on others.
