There are few things that could have gotten me out of my cozy, warm apartment during last weekend’s rainstorm. One of those things is Miss Alyssa Nicole. In a short dress no less!
Saturday was the launch of Alyssa Nicole’s Spring 2014 collection – A round-up of sleek, minimalist looks that mark a departure for the designer. The bright colors and retro silhouettes from last season were left behind as she presented chic, wearable Spring separates for the girl on the go.
Each piece both made a statement in and of itself, and was versatile enough to mix and match all season. Not an easy feat I assure you.
The fabrics ranged from raw silk to linen to tweed – All with an easy grace that’ll make them the go-to piece in your closet for Spring.
How am I envisioning these pieces for Spring?
The crochet and lace crop tops will be perfect with a flowy maxi skirt or thrown over a bikini with shorts for your next warm weather vacation, while the breezy tops can be worn with jeans or a slim fitting skirt, and easily topped with a structured blazer for a nighttime look.
What am I coveting most?
The white-on-white gingham collared shirt dress has my name written all over it and I can already see myself in the chic little tweed suit. I adore cropped pants with a classic suit!
