I was honored to be the July speaker for the W Hotel San Francisco‘s amazing Inspire series. A wonderful group of ladies and gentlemen joined me for a delicious luncheon at the W’s restaurant Trace where we chatted about workwear and business casual fashion.

From what to wear when you’re meeting financiers to your first day at a new office to menswear styling – We covered some interesting topics that are very relevant to today’s working men and women.

Below are a few of my tried and true business casual fashion tips:
- You want to feel confident & comfortable – Find a style that suits your body type and meets your company’s dress code requirements
- Gentlemen – Khakis are not slacks. Khaki colored slacks are fine, but khakis are not slacks!
- The best way to go from day-to-night is to add accessories: Statement jewelry & killer heels for the ladies and a fun jacket, watch, or messenger bag for gentlemen.
And the best, and easiest way to go take your work look out for a night on the town? A bold red lip!
Thank you to the W Hotel for allowing me to be a part of such a wonderful series and thank you to Fashion On The Square for including me in their great Fashion Week celebration.
Also, a HUGE thank you to all of the amazing people who came out for the event!
