March In Review

March was one for the books this year – The perfect combination of productivity, fun, friends, and great projects.

Not only did I get a chance to work with my favorite New York photographer, Lydia Hudgens, this month – Window Pane Girl, Cocktail Attire & Caped – I also got to shoot with Bay Area blogger & photographer Work It Berk, and San Francisco start-up Ladada.

I also got a chance to visit the ladies of Les Mechantes down at their SF-made pop-up shop near the ballpark. All you locals out there, I highly recommend making the most of this gorgeous weather & stopping The Yard to shop & enjoy the beer garden. Or enjoy the beer garden and then shop!

And in case you missed it, be sure to join the Ladada x Favery giveaway here!!

While I enjoyed every minute of March, I also spend some time looking forward to my upcoming vacation to Greece and starting to get ready.

Curious how I’m preparing for Spring Break? Check out my Clean Green Eating Plan, and the two easy, healthy recipes that I can’t stop making right now – Veggie Stirfry & Protein Smoothies.

March was more of the same in terms of fitness – Lots of core work and bodyweight circuits supplemented with running, yoga, and Pilates.

If you want to see the types of workouts I’m putting together check out these posts:

  1. Publish: This month was all about editing – From my new role as Fashion Editor at Legally Vogue to rereading and tearing apart my personal reading. I’m excited that I’m still on track to finish my first novel this year!
  2. Move: My go-to stress reliever this month was running. Whenever I’m feeling overwhelmed I hit the pavement and head for the water!
  3. Grateful: A chronic injury that reared its ugly head again this month reinforced how grateful I am on a daily basis. I have a strong, powerful body and I know that I’ll get through this!
  4. Habits: Feeling guilty when I have to say “no” to someone is one of my worst default settings. Especially in situations when I know that I shouldn’t be apologizing. This month I was forced to take some time for myself and I did my best to make the most of that time rather than think about what I should have been doing instead.

Was March everything YOU hoped it would be?
