Since getting my hair cut, I’ve been trying to acclimate to styling the new length. My traditional look is hair pulled back into a bun, but it’s actually too short for that right now.
What I’ve learned about this shorter length is that it’s all about the tools and products. I tend to appreciate the no-muss, no-fuss approach to hair and beauty, so having an expert like Klaudia available to educate me has been invaluable. And since I know I’m not the only one who appreciates a good short hair tutorial, we decided to document the process to share with you!
[1.] Gather hair at the top of your head & secure so that you can work with a single layer at a time,
[2.] Using a slim flat-iron like this mint green beauty from ghd, wrap 1-inch sections of hair around the iron & hold for 5-10 seconds depending on hair thickness,
[3.] After you’ve curled all the pieces in each layer of hair, spray copiously with hair spray. Here we used Garnier Fructis Flexible Hold With Natural Bamboo Extract. Then release additional hair from the clip & repeat until all your hair has been curled,
[4.] Depending on desired curl, tousle or comb through hair, and do a final spray.
Have YOU tried flat-iron waves?
