When you say “Comfort Food,” I immediately think “Mac n’ Cheese.” Gooey, delicious, filling – Does it get more comforting than that?
Every Fall I look forward to trying a new variety of “cheese sauce” and this season it was Choosing Raw (now The Full Helping)’s Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese via Faring-Well.
I paired this amazing sauce with nori noodles, quinoa elbow pasta, and homemade zucchini noodles, and all were excellent.
I especially loved add broccoli to the mix to make it extra filling. And I bet that cauliflower would be an excellent addition as well.
