After all of the fun of the Vint blogger meet-up I was thrilled when Ashley from A Lady Goes West decided to host a killer workout and meet-and-greet at Orange Theory in Walnut Creek.
I love trying out new workouts and am always game for catching up with and meeting new blogger babes.
The workout was intense, I’m not going to lie.
Our modified workout was a shorter-than-normal session and I honestly have no idea how people double that time!
We started with running and sprints on the treadmill followed by rowing and squats for time, before heading back to the treadmill, and then finishing up with weight circuits.

Bonus? You wear a heart rate monitor for the workout and not only can you keep an eye on your stats throughout, you get a handy dandy summary when you’re done so that you can see where you stand and see where to push yourself next time.
This is definitely a GREAT motivational tool. I’m dying to try it again so that I can push myself to spend some more time in the orange and red zones!
Have YOU tried Orange Theory?
Hi Caity! You did awesome in class, and it was so fun to see you working so hard. Because some of us have lower resting heart-rates and it can be harder to get into the Orange and Red zones, but these results show that you got in a killer workout. Thank you so much for coming, my friend!! 🙂
How much fun! I need to attend more blogger meet ups 🙂
Sadly, fall and winter in the chicago area just makes u want to be at home 😀

SO much fun! A wonderful motivational tool indeed! That hear rate monitor made me push myself much more than I would have without it. Can’t wait to do another meet up soon 🙂
