After spending August and September happily running around Northern California on a wonderful Summer of adventures, I was thrilled to settle back in San Francisco come October.
I worked on some writing, did some photo shoots, attended some fun events…
Fashion & Beauty:
This month I fell in love with the luxurious separates from Les Lunes and ran around San Francisco in their gorgeous pieces.
Perfect for pairing with my existing workwear and my new Rag & Bone trench coat from The Real Real.

Food:
My favorite thing about being home? Aside from kitty cuddles, it’s getting back into the kitchen. This month was filled with delicious, healthy fare – From Vegan Buddha Bowls to fresh Tomato & Bean Salads to guilt-free Butternut Squash Mac n’ Cheese.

Fitness:
I kept up with my goal to push myself physically this month by expanding my workouts.
Lifting and squats played a major part in getting my booty in shape this month, and I gave Barre class a go as well.
My favorite new workout though has got to be the Orange Theory bootcamp I tried in Walnut Creek!

Goals:
- Publish: A new plan has emerged in connection with my “personal” writing so stay tuned for more!
- Move: I upped my short-distance runs this month to three a week. My weekly schedule looks something like this right now: Monday, Wednesday & Friday – 3 mile midday run and yoga, Barre, or Pilates after work. Tuesday & Thursday – Lifting, rolling & stretching. Loving the new schedule!
- Grateful: I adore Fall and just walking outside has put a huge grin on my face all month. I love the weather, the pumpkins, the clothes, the upcoming holidays… #FallFever
- Habits: It can be daunting to start thinking about your New Years Resolutions for the year during the Fall/Winter. What have you accomplished? What goals did you miss? What I’m trying to do instead of beating myself up is to reframe my ambitions for the year – Why didn’t this happen? Did I not have time or did it just not seem important once I discovered something else? This helps me figure out what I really want!
Are YOU ready to get into holiday season?
