How Professionals Stay Healthy

There’s one type of article I can never scroll past without clicking – It’s those ‘Day in the life’ pieces written my people whose health are part of their job. Whether it’s a fitness blogger or a model or a nutritionist, I’m always intrigued to hear what they have to say.

What supplements, if any, do they take? What’s on the breakfast menu? Do they drink coffee?

And you know what? The answers are always totally varied! Some swear by eggs for breakfast, others skip it all together. Some drink nothing but water and tea all day, some have three cups of coffee {my kind of people, clearly.}

Here are a few of my favorite pieces recently sharing healthy living tips, recipe recommendations, and workout routines for people all over who lead very different lives. What I love, and what you can see is universal across all of these articles, is that finding your personal definition of wellness is the first step. It’s not about being a vegan or working out religiously or eating anything specific, it’s about discovering what works for you and your lifestyle.

What Do Models Really Eat from The Coveteur was a great read, it’s a really lovely interview with Danielle Copperman, a model and wellness entrepreneur, about her diet, workouts, and how she approaches travel in a healthy way.

My Daily Routine from Mind Body Green follows a day in the life of yoga guru Tara Stiles – My biggest takeaway was about the importance of carving out some “me” time to relax and renew yourself each day. Love that!

SportLuxe interviewed a professional soccer star about her diet and I love the clean diet that she follows. Nothing fancy, just clean, simple, healthy food – Inside the Diet of an Elite Athlete.

Fitness Guru Anna Victoria Shares Her Perfect Day of Eating – I totally get her “creature of habit” comment, I have the same habit of eating the same/similar foods all week and then mixing things up on the weekends when I have more time to be creative in the kitchen.

Kayla Itsines is an Instagram favorite of mine and I adore her Bikini Body Guides – #BBGirlsForLife – So I was thrilled when Bazaar profiled her! Check out the Kayla Itsine Food Diary.
