Working From Home: Modern Workspace

My day job may require being in an office building all day during the work week, but my outside projects require finding an alternative workspace on weekends to ensure I meet all of my writing deadlines.

And that’s because, I have to confess, that I’m not the most productive worker from home on the weekends.

That’s not to say I’m not productive – I’m just too distracted being productive with chores & home-related tasks to be productive with my writing.

Plus – Cats! Two of them. Who think I am a cat bed whenever seated.

And it’s out of this need, and the general increase in working from home & freelancing in recent years, that has ushered in the era of the mobile workspace.

This can mean any number of things – From writing at cafes in my neighborhood to renting space in a gorgeous Breather office for a few hours of silence away from the distractions of every day living that can pop up.
