I’ve talked about it before {Workout Playlist & Winter Playlist}, but music, and the songs that I’m listing to, have a huge impact on my workouts.
That includes everything from the bold playlists at Barry’s Bootcamp and TRX, to what’s in my Spotify lists at a given moment. I tend to create a playlist whenever a new mood strikes me – Slower, dramatic tunes for zoning at work, sing-along country tracks for roadtrips, and heart-pumping, upbeat songs for my workouts.
My current workout playlist – Called Pura Vida, was inspired by my recent trip to Costa Rica – And includes some of the following songs:
- Electric Love – Borns
- Old Thing Back – Matoma & The Notorious B.I.G.
- Ex’s & Oh’s – Elle King
- Ginza – J Balvin
- Broken Arrows – Avicii
- Powerful – Major Lazer & Elle Goulding
- The Fix – Nelly
- Summer – Calvin Harris
- Want to Want Me – Jason Derulo
- Coming Over – Dillon Francis
- Nothing Left – Kygo & Will Heard
- Are You With Me – Lost Frequencies {A current favorite!}
- Lean On – Major Lazer
- Crave You Adventure Club Remix – Flight Facilities
- Can’t Stop The Feeling – Justin Timberlake
- Cheap Thrills – Sia
- Treat You Better – Shawn Mendes
- Into You – Ariana Grande
- Please Don’t Go – Joel Adams
- Work From Home – Fifth Harmony {Guilty pleasure! :)}
Plus some fun retro tracks like The Supremes, Beach Boys, and Beatles. Mais bien sur!
I just made this Spotify list public so you can check it out the rest of the list here – Pura Vida.
Let me know what you think! Want more of my playlists to be made public?
