Finding your zen in this hectic, busy, modern day world can be a challenge. We’re pulled in so many different directions and so focused on our phones and our To Do Lists, that sometimes we even forget that we need to slow down.
With the end of my August 30 Day Self Challenge, I’m not only focusing on finding healthy, relaxing pursuits, but I’m also working at incorporating all of the things that I love in my life. All of the little things that bring me joy and stock my passions and make me smile.
That doesn’t have to mean something time-consuming or expensive or something that requires a ton of effort to achieve. It can be the littlest joy – Like finding a gorgeous view on your way home & stopping for a moment to appreciate the beauty.
What are some of my zen moments these days?
- Cooking
- Spending time with friends and family
- Visiting my favorite places
- Reading great books
- Working out
- Running
- Admiring my surroundings
Like I said, it doesn’t have to a big thing – You just need to find your zen moments each day. It’ll help reduce your stress levels {aka cortisol}, promote a healthy life, and allow you to clear your head on a daily basis.
So tell me – What’s YOUR zen?
