I go through phases with my skin care – Sometimes that means enjoying a specific beauty routine for a few weeks or even months, and sometimes that means having a new MVP in the medicine cabinet that I can’t live without. Right now there are three essentials in my regime that I am living for. All of which I’ve been using for a significant amount of time.
Over the years I’ve had lash extensions, lash perms, and last tints. And I’ve always wanted to try an eyelash boosting serum, but never quite knew which one to go for.
This is no joke.
A friend introduced me to Rodan + Fields and their miraculous Enhancements Lash Boost. I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially with a price tag of $150. Things started out slowly. I was warned that it could have an irritating effect and to use it sparingly and take days off at first. I wasn’t sure if it was working for a few weeks. But, by the six weeks mark, it was very noticeable. I had to buy new mascara because my old tube wasn’t cutting it and everyone started asking if I had gotten extensions!
I’ve become mildly obsessed with cleansers and keeping my skin as squeaky clean as possible. My all time favorite cleanser is the Boscia Detoxifying Black Charcoal Cleanser, but since I’ve enjoyed all the Caudalie products I’ve tried, I wanted to give their instant foaming cleanser a try. And I wasn’t disappointed. It’s very moisturizing, but still very effective. I’ve been pairing it with my new Cleanse, Exfoliate & Massage Ultimate Skin Spa System from VanityPlanet. So far, I’m pretty obsessed. But it has only been two weeks, so stay tuned for a full review!
This is a product that I’ve always wanted to try from a brand that’s known around the world for being amazing. And expensive. Thanks to a very timely birthday gift card in the Fall, I was excited to snag a bottle of the Facial Treatment Essence to try out.
It’s ultra lightweight, you almost feel like you didn’t put anything on your skin. It also absorbs super quickly, so it’s a very quick step in your routine. Between the cleanser and toner, and before the moisturizer and SPF. So far, so good, I’m really enjoying this addition to my regime.
