The truth is that we all sometimes need to hit “restart” on our goals. This time of year there are non-stop BBQs, weddings, vacations, and other fun, but sometimes unhealthy, social and familial events. Even the most diligent of gym rats and macro-following eaters can find themselves feeling less than their best after a few fun Summer events. But since it’s also the time of year that you want to feel great so that you can enjoy the sunshine and getting outside to the max, here are some easy-to-implement recommendations to kickstart a healthier lifestyle this season.
Increase:
- Drink more water {try pretty infused water}
- Eat more whole foods, fruits & vegetables
- Get more SLEEP
Decrease:
- Eating out/ordering in
- Consuming processed products
- Keeping junk food around
