One of my favorite places to go for inspiration is Pinterest – For everything from recipes to sartorial ideas to funny memes or quotes. I love searching for seasonal street style to see what all the fabulous bloggers around wearing around the world.
Since I’ve been doing so much searching recently, because I’ve been doing some shopping lately, I thought it would be fun to do a round-up. So welcome back to the Looks of the Week series with a Winter Street Style edition.
{Nothing says Winter fashion to me quite like outerwear. I look forward to pulling out my coat collection all year-round. And that’s what really caught my eye here – These two coats are absolutely divine. From the bold geometric print to the eye-catching fur trim, they’re both classic but utterly modern.}
{Olivia Palermo is a perennial favorite around these parts. I simply love how she puts together a look. Everything is polished and elegant, very chic, but always with a contemporary twist. Something that makes it very “now.” Here that’s achieved by making the classic silhouette and color combination the central focal point, while taking note of today’s trends in the size of the sleeves and the cropped length of the trousers. It comes together wonderfully.}
{Sometimes the perfect outfit has a pop of color or an eye-catching point of interest, while other times all of the pieces just blend seamlessly together into the look of your dreams. I’d argue the latter in this case. It’s classic, but still modern. A chic, timeless silhouette and color story. And it’s got some killer pieces, but nothing that screams at the camera, just all tasteful and chic. J’adore!}
{On weekends you can usually find me in black, so I’m always on the lookout for fun ways to mix those pieces up. We Wore What is all about that head-to-black styling and knows that a killer pair of jeans always pulls your look together. Bonus – These jeans are from her capsule collection, you can swoop them up here.}
{What drew my eye to this look was the real-worldness of it. While that may sound strange, most of high fashion – From the runways to the afterparties – Isn’t actually very wearable. While this look was snapped on the streets during Paris Fashion Week, it’s an admirable combination of fashionable, cozy, and weather-appropriate.}
