San Francisco Jewelry: Camille K Atelier

I recently made the trek from San Francisco to Mountain View to visit the Camille K Atelier. And believe me when I say that this trip was absolutely worth the madness of holiday traffic and schizophrenic Winter weather.

The cavernous showroom had a distinctly Parisian feel with fabulous wall art, round glass display cases, and black velvet jewelry busts to show off their one-of-a-kind jewelry works of art.

Aside from the phenomenal jewelry – I’ll get to that in just one moment – My favorite part of their studio were the three giant floor-to-ceiling mood boards. Swoon. I immediately started brainstorming ways to make this kind of larger-than-life DIY art project a feasible option for my apartment.

The decorating style of the shop combined with the beautiful vintage & vintage-inspired pieces themselves created an amazing experience – You were transported to a chic little French atelier in the 30’s or 40’s.

Pins, collars, and jewels – Oh MY!

Of course I couldn’t help but try on a few pieces and I finished up the trip by buying myself a little treat – This Cheri Bracelet with a starburst charm hanging from the clasp. It’s classic but eye-catching and unique – All of the reasons that I worship vintage jewelry.

I highly recommend making a trip to Camille K and with Valentine’s Day quickly approaching you’d be wise to take a look at their website and drop some hints to your beau!
