I didn’t eat breakfast for years and when I reintroduced it into my diet I noticed a few changes. While my energy levels didn’t waiver much, my endurance did increase. Long workouts, longer runs.
Now that’s worth committing to!
One of my favorite breakfasts has become overnight oats or a hearty oatmeal.
I like playing with ingredients and trying new recipes – Stay tuned for my mouth-watering peanut butter oats! – But this super nutritious version has become a staple of late.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup Organic Oats
- 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1 Tbsp Sprouted Pumpkin Seeds
- 1 Tbsp Sprouted Sunflower Seeds
- 1 Tbsp Goji Berries
- 1 Tbsp Grainless Granola
- 1 Scoop Sun Warrior Vanilla Protein
- 1/4 Tsp Cinnamon
Directions:
- Soak oats & chia seeds for 1-12 hours {quick versus overnight}
- Add additional ingredients
- Enjoy!
