MCLV Style: J’Adore

I saw this J’Adore tee on an Old Navy pop-up ad while I was online and was in the store trying it on within hours.

Instant gratification, who me?

And what better way to make a cute graphic tee pop than by adding stripes? This great Splendid striped maxi skirt is a versatile piece all year – It looks great in so many situations, from vacation to brunch!

This is a quintessential weekend look for me this time of year – Basic pieces with some fun accessories added to give the look some punch. Here I layered on Chloe + Isabel necklaces and complemented the red lip with a bright red wristlet from Gigi New York.

I’ve been test driving some bold new lipcolors for Fall and this berry-based red is turning out to be one of my favorites. If you’re in the mood for an eye-catching lip, I highly recommend giving Rimmel London’s Kate Moss Collection a try. Here I’m wearing their Bordeaux hue.

I’m actually a long-time fan of Rimmel, I started using their products when I lived in Rome during college, and was excited to see this fun collaboration hit drugstores in the US this year!

Are YOU a fan of a great graphic tee as well?

MCLV Style: San Francisco Style & My Graphic Tee

These shots were taken in the bustling Union Square area of San Francisco after a beautiful Saturday spent shopping and celebrity sighting with some of my favorite ladies – Donna of So You Agree, Alex of SF Shop Girl, and Sasha of Sasha Maks Vintage.

This look ended up being a great choice for this long day – We started at the Rebecca Minkoff handbag sale at 9:30am and ended with photos in front of Macys at 4:30pm. Like I said. Long day! 🙂 Graphic tees are a fun trend to try out this Spring and the perfect way to spice up a simple jeans and t-shirt look is by adding heels and a statement bag.

And this wasn’t just any day – Definitely not – I was in Union Square to meet the beautiful and oh-so-talented Aimee Song of Song of Style at the Macy’s American Icons event.

I had gotten a chance to say hello to Aimee while I was at IFBCON earlier this year but I was still pretty excited to get a chance to chat with her on Saturday – The five of us talked blogging, shopping, and the differences between the San Francisco and LA fashion blogger scenes.

Do you have a favorite t-shirt for Spring? Have you tried out any of the cute graphic tee yet this season?
