I’m going to preface this post by tell you that the word “cold” doesn’t even begin to capture the essence of the temperature while I was in New York last weekend.
Frigid.
Numbing.
Glacial.

I mention this because the fact that I’m (1) Twirling around Lincoln Center in these temperatures while wearing a dress, (2) NOT wearing gloves, a scarf, or hat, and (3) Still smiling, are likely going to be a major factors when my mother tries have me committed.

NYFW may have been my excuse to head back East, but my trip was really about catching up with friends. Not only has my high school best friend been a Manhattan resident for nearly a decade, a number of my fashion friends have made the move from San Francisco to New York in the past year.
