Valentine’s Day: Tiffany & Co. Pink Diamonds

I’m pleased to share that Moi Contre La Vie has teamed up with Tiffany & Co. to put together some beautiful, festive jewelry looks for Valentine’s Day. We’ve got looks to suit anyone’s style, and pocketbook – From classic diamonds to colorful stones with a modern twist to sweet, feminine pieces you’ll adore.

Whether you’re looking for the perfect, memorable gift for a special person in your life, want to treat yourself to a divine new piece, or are hoping to give someone a hint – You’ll find just what you’re looking for!

Before going through all the beautiful rings that Tiffany & Co. has at the ready we sat down to discuss their process for acquiring stones, Tiffany’s stringent ethical standards, and look through different cuts, settings, and gemstones.

I knew that I’d learn a great deal about diamonds, jewelry, and Tiffany & Co., but I wasn’t prepared for the wonderful history lesson that I received.

A fun fact you may not know about Tiffany & Co. – The beautiful pink gemstone Morganite was named by Tiffany & Co. for one of their top clients – J.P. Morgan!

In the image above Miss Karen Elson wears a 175-carat morganite necklace. 175 carats!

And while I’m not what I’d call a “pink girl” even I have to admit just how striking this ring was. The pink stone is such a fun, bold color – It’s even more eye-catching in person if you can believe it – While still being utterly timeless.

For those of you in the market for a stunner like this one, it’s called The Soleste and the central stone is Spinel.

Would YOU wear pink diamonds?

MCLV Style: Valentine’s Day Red

Pink, peach, coral, tangerine… There are a number of beautiful, bright hues that we associate with Valentine’s Day but I figured if I was going to get dressed up this year I was going to go all out in head-to-toe Valentine’s Day Red!

I got this beautiful red printed Michael Kors blouse on my last trip to Saks and have been waiting for the perfect moment to break it out. I love the demure high necked bow against the bold, dramatic hue – It’s the perfect combination.

Black and red is one of my favorite color combinations – It’s bold and eye-catching, but still classic. This was the perfect look for an early dinner to celebrate Valentine’s Day and I was glad I’d worn long-sleeves by the end of the evening!

Are YOU getting dressed up for Valentine’s Day this year?
