Moving in the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas means one thing – Shopping. And lots of it.
Since I’ve been spending so much time at the shops and online in recent weeks, I thought I’d share a holidays edition of What I’m Loving Lately.
Engaging the senses is such a huge part of the holidays. Which means that scents, tastes, and sights are always at the top of my list for ways to get into the spirit. Here are some of my favorites right now:
My first holiday-related purchase every single year is a peppermint candle. It’s my favorite scent but they’re only ever available during the holidays. A few favorites are the Cheer 10 oz Peppermint Candle, Peppermint Bark Boxed Jar Candle, Pier 1’s Peppermint Party Striped Pillar Candle, and Rue21 3-Wick Twisted Peppermint Candle,
I got a Puresonic Bamboo Aroma Diffuser earlier this year that I love and over the weekend it (finally) occurred to me to put the peppermint oil in. Now the whole apartment smells like a candy cane!!
Speaking of candy canes… I got a pack, or two, of Bark Thin’s Dark Chocolate Mint and splurged at William Sonoma on their Ultimate Peppermint Bark Set. Perfect little pieces to include with holiday gifts!
We’ve been drinking lots of tea lately as well – From Yogi’s Cinnamon Vanilla “Healthy Skin” tea to Candy Cane tea.
Since I’ve basically been touring all of the home goods in the Bay Area the last few weeks – Here’s a round-up of my favorite holiday décor goodies.
